A small town in the Polish Province: the plaster is crumbling from the houses, the road is full of potholes, at the station, time seems to stand still. Many want to get away from here in order to fulfill the desire for a better life. Thus, the eighteen-year-old Elka learn alongside her job as a dishwasher and Italian applies for a foreign company. As their mother works all day, also takes care of itself Elka Stefek, her 7-year-old brother who is learning from its big sister the tricks can be bribed with the help of fate. How is it possible, for example, that a struggling street vendors in an instant all his apples sold? At the station Stefek sees a man whom he considers his father he has never met .. By virtue of his Imagination he changed the course of events. Elka missed the important job interview in the company and the alleged father is actually spent in boarding the next train.
